Career Experience

I began tutoring English composition in my freshman year of college, eventually developing (with my composition instructor) a peer mentoring program for credit for other student tutors. I then worked as a tutor/consultant for my university's writing center while studying English and creative writing. Altogether, I have over five years of English tutoring experience at the college level.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love writing and composition, and I enjoy helping people find solutions to the writing challenges they are facing. Helping to demystify the writing process and make it clear and simple to others is the core of my approach. I love that moment when it clicks for them, and everything begins to fall into place. I live for that moment!
