Career Experience
I have over 18 years of experience at bedside specializing in surgical NICU, pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery and case management. I have also worked in adult telemetry at the bedside. I have served in leadership roles in both NICU and women's services (L&D, Postpartum, NICU), and participated in writing online nursing textbooks. I currently work in quality, working with teams to create evidence-based practice guidelines for care at my hospital.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love nursing and supporting new nurses. Nursing was a second career for me that I started in my early 30's, so I know how hard it can be to balance school, work and having a family. Tutoring is my way of offering a helping hand to new nurses so they can be successful.
