Career Experience
Before teaching, I worked as a veterinary technician in a humane society for animals and then at a veterinary hospital. I began my teaching career in 2007 - 2010 and then again in 2012. I have taught high school science for 15 years and I absolutely love teaching chemistry. I currently teach AP/DC chemistry, biology and honors chemistry (pre-AP chemistry). In the past I have also taught forensic science as well as anatomy & physiology. I am also home - I teach in the school where I graduated in the exact classroom where I had AP chemistry as senior in high school. Needless to say, being home has been an absolutely wild ride and one I would not change for anything.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love when a student is able to 'see' the concept they were struggling to understand and they are able to finally really and truly make sense of a particularly difficult topic, that is what has kept me in the classroom and is why I teach and will spill directly into tutoring.
