Career Experience

I have always focused on teaching. I have tutored since my time in high school. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate education, I was involved in teaching courses, from grading to handling sections to being an outright instructor. After getting my Master's degree, I taught calculus at university for a couple of years. In part with aligning with the birth of my daughter, I transitioned into tutoring and have been doing so ever since.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love learning new things. Part of learning is figuring out how to explain the information to others. I have always enjoyed this aspect: Watching the thought process of other people, adapting to their way of thinking, and coming up with novel ways to describe the concepts therein. I find these challenges rewarding.

This is my first time using service and I am glad. I can see myself using this everyday from now own. This is extremely helpful for unconventional student like myself that works full time and cannot participate of in person study session on campus at regular hours. Also I wish I knew about this during my first year for precalculus and calculus. Studying in a group or tutor beats trying to figure everything out by yourself.
