Types of Transportation Available to Campus
It's easy to get to Saint Michael's.
The Burlington International Airport (BTV) in South Burlington and Amtrak stations in Essex Junction or downtown Burlington are both 10-minute drives from campus. The Greyhound Bus station is located in the Burlington International Airport. MegaBus also provides service to Downtown Burlington. Taxi service is available throughout the area.
Current airlines servicing Burlington International Airport include American, JetBlue, United, & Delta. Direct flights are available from cities including Chicago, Cincinnati, New York, Philadelphia, Newark, Detroit, & Washington D.C.
Driving Instructions to Campus
From Boston Area: Take Interstate 93 or Route 3 and 93 north to Interstate 89 (Concord, NH). Follow I-89 to Vermont Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Worcester Area: Take Interstate 290 east to Interstate 495 north to Route 3 and 93 north (Nashua), to Interstate 89 (Concord) to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Hartford/Springfield Area: Take Interstate 91 north to Interstate 89 north (White River Junction area) Follow I-89 north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From New York City/New Jersey: N.Y. State Thruway (87) north to Exit 20, Route 149 east to Fort Ann, follow Route 4, north to Fairhaven, VT to Route 22A, north, to Route 7, north (Vergennes) to route 189 , east to Interstate 89, north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Albany area: Follow directions from Adirondack Northway (87) north, listed under From New York City/New Jersey above.
From Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse: Most direct: N.Y. State Thruway 90 east to Route 8, east (Utica) to Route 9N, north to Ticonderoga. Cross Bridge at Crown Point, NY to Route 17 north to Route 22A, north to Route 7 (Vergennes). Follow Route 7, north to Route 189 east to Interstate 89, north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Exit 15, Interstate 89 (Northbound): Bear right off of exit onto Route 15 east for approximately 2/10s of a mile. The College is on left. Stay in right lane and follow Rte. 15 through two lights. After second light bear right into jug handle and go through intersection to the campus. The Office of Admission is located in the Hoehl Welcome Center on the left, with visitor's parking at the entrance.
From Exit 16, Interstate 89 (Southbound): Turn right onto Rte. 7 south. Go to the center of Winooski, turn left on Rte. 15 East. Follow Rte. 15 for approximately 1 mile. The College is on left after the overpass. Stay in right lane and follow Rte. 15 through two lights. After second light bear right into jug handle and go through intersection to the campus. The Office of Admission is located in the Hoehl Welcome Center on the left, with visitor's parking at the entrance.
