NEW YORK, August 25, 2022/ — The Princeton Review®, known across America and beyond for its tutoring, test-prep, and admissions services, now offers online, self-paced courses for all three levels of the highly challenging CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst®) exam.

The education services company debuted its course for the Level III CFA exam today. The new course follows on the success of The Princeton Review’s previously released online courses for the Level I CFA exam in September 2019 and the Level II CFA Exam in December 2020.

The CFA designation is the most respected credential in the field of financial analysis. It is administered by the CFA Institute, the premier global organization for investment management professionals. The designation carries many benefits from enhanced status and earnings potential to lifelong networking and education resources. Earning this highly impressive credential, however, is very difficult.

Candidates for a CFA designation must pass three exams that collectively involve just over 15 hours of test-taking. The pass rates for the exams are sobering. On the most recent administrations, the pass rate was 38 percent for the Level I exam, 44 percent for the Level II exam, and 49 percent for the Level III exam. The 10-year average pass rate for all three levels is 44 percent.

"Appreciating the challenge of a becoming a CFA charterholder, and the study time available to working professionals aiming to pass these exams, we designed our CFA exam courses to be highly targeted, efficient, and dynamic,” said Juwon Lee, The Princeton Review's Chief Financial Officer. Lee, who spearheaded the company's development of the courses, added, "Our extraordinary instructors—all of whom are CFA charterholders—honed our course content to focus only on concepts specific to each exam and to help test-takers master analytic skills essential to passing the exams, and, ideally, passing them their first time.”

What further distinguishes The Princeton Review’s three courses for the CFA exams is that each course carries the company’s Pass Assurance. Simply put: Anyone who purchases and completes The Princeton Review’s Level I, Level II, or Level III CFA exam course who subsequently fails to pass the related exam can get their money back. Terms are specified on the company’s website here.

The Princeton Review’s new Level III CFA exam course is priced at $799. It carries the company’s unique Pass Assurance and includes:

  • 50+ hours of video lectures and question-solving tutorials
  • 800+ multiple choice questions with detailed solutions
