Career Experience
I began my career in research and development in the biotechnology industry developing a point-of-care platform to detect STDs in human samples. I am currently a scientist at a biotechnology startup developing a biosensor on CMOS chips to detect viral pathogens and biomarkers that indicate the presence of a disease.
I Love Tutoring Because
I believe it's necessary to help students to progress in their academic career and go without feeling as if they are incapable of learning a subject. It discourages learning in general and can lead to the student falling behind and potentially being overlooked. During my time as a graduate student, I discovered how gratifying and fun it is to teach and help students. I want to continue that experience here at tutor.com!
