SUNY Oswego offers its students three online MBA programs: Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, and Public Accounting. The variety of programs is just one of the many reasons that students choose this school. “I chose the online MBA program through SUNY Oswego as it offered unparalleled value and convenience. Additionally, it has a reputation that many other online MBA programs do not have, being a SUNY institution,” one student says. Another student appreciates the “flexibility of doing the work on your own time. If something major comes up, the professors are accommodating. The MBA office is flexible with the schedule of classes.”
Overall, students describe the administration and faculty as supportive, with one student stating, “I have found the best people to be housed in the actual MBA office. They have been so helpful in any step of my process.” Some students comment that a few courses could be more interactive between professors and others in the class. However, students generally find the professors to be “extremely active and engaged” especially those in the healthcare program. Most students find that “the course work is manageable while working full time and the online learning platform allows for easy access to feedback.” Many students are working professionals and they laud the program for its “exceptional relevance and applicability.”

SUNY Oswego’s career services help students discover future opportunities. Students can speak with a career coach to help them create résumés, find internships, gain experience in networking, and more. They can also use the online platform Handshake to schedule appointments with career coaches and find job postings. Available to all SUNY Oswego students, career services offer five different career communities for students going into similar career fields to discover how their different strengths and weaknesses fit into the job industry. They offer online career fairs that students can visit from the comfort of their own homes. One student notes, “The program offers a convenient path to complete a necessary step to advance my career.” The school reports an average starting salary of $81,589 for 2023 graduates.
